This cable has been reported to have issues being used with ATI 57XX and 58XX series video cards. We've contacted ATI about this problem and they have expressed that this is a known issue with their video cards and they do not plan on fixing it.
Our Displayport to Female Mini Displayport adapter is the perfect solution for hooking up your PC or Displayport equipped computer to an Apple Cinema Display. This is a great solution because they are the same technology, as such you have no compromise as far as resolution or signal quality. We have also received feedback from our customers telling us that it works with the Apple Mini Displayport to Dual Link DVI Adapter to produce the full resolution on the Apple Cinema Display with DVI input!
Cable will be available in 1 meter (~3 feet) and 2 meter (~6 feet) lengths but this cable can be custom built to other you may need with 6 week lead time. Tooling charges may apply for small batches.
Cable is compatible with Apple mini-displayport products and will be in Apples typical gloss white color to match your Apple products. Please note, because this is a new cable it has not been tested on every possible configuration of PC to Apple Display. If this cable does not work for your particular situation for any reason we will send a complete refund including shipping cost.

- 8.64 Gbit/s forward link channel supports high resolution monitors up to 2560x1600 with single cable.
- 8B/10B data transmission (up to 2.7 GHz symbol rate, up to 4 lanes, 8B/10B modulation)
- Open and extensible standard to help with broad adoption.
- Supports color depth of 6, 8, 10, 12 and 16 bits per component.
- Full bandwidth transmission (2560x1600p60)
- DisplayPort connector assists in blind connection.
- 128-bit AES DisplayPort Content Protection (DPCP) support, and support for 40-bit High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) from version 1.1 onwards.
- Supports internal and external connections so that one standard can be used by computer makers reducing costs.

Perfect solution for using Apple 27" LED Cinema Display (purchased 2011) and HP EliteBook laptop PC running Win7 (NVidia 3100 graphics). Turns VDU on and off with laptop power up/down as expected. Quality of plastic not Apple standard, but still acceptable. Fast & efficient delivery to UK.

- Don't work with Gigabyte HD6770 (GV-R677SL-1GD).
- Work perfectly with Asus HD6850 (EAH6850 DC/2DIS/1GD5/V2).
Win x64 7 Ultimate.

Works without a hitch. Used on 64-bit windows 7 system with Radeon 6850.

No luck with XFX Radeon HD 5750 + 24" LED Cinema Display

Thought I could get lucky, since other people were able to use the 5770. Unfortunately it did not work. The cable does have a nice build quality though. Shipping was really quick, two days from CA to TX.

OK for PC with Asus EAH6850 + Apple 27" Cinema Display

After the disaster with the Sapphire Radeon HD5750 1GB card (no picture) I bought an Asus EAH6850 1GB card which gives a superb result at 2560x1440 pixels with the Apple 27" Cinema Display. As well with Windows XP 32 bit and Windows 7 32 bit at an PC with Asus M4A78T-E motherboard.

Does not work with PC and HD5750 as stated

Cable delivered in 3 days to Netherlands. However the 27 Apple Cinema stays dead. The monitor works fine with an Apple system (tested). The warning is correct. The HD5750 in a PC does not recognise the monitor. Using a VGA monitor in parallel the VGA will at the end show the Windows (7-32bit) screen. During booting the VGA remains black as well if the displayport is used.

Works Perfectly With Apple 27 inch LED and Asus P8H67-M EVO

I bought this cable to connect to the Display port on a ASUS board (P8H67-M EVO) and my Apple LED 27 inch monitor. I am using the core i5-2500 processor with the board. I booted the system, came up perfectly to screen (VGA resolution), installed Windows Small Business Server Standard, and then updated the graphics driver from the included ASUS drivers. Resolution is perfect at 2560 x 1440. Cable is sturdy and of high (excellent) quality and I am using the 6 foot version. I would highly recommend it for a similar set-up / connection.
